Training to become a pilot is obviously an expensive task. Hence scholarships and freeships help the candidate to offload their financial burden.
In India, government flying clubs support schemes which are offered by various government institutions who finance loans for candidates who are looking for CPL training.

Commercial Pilot is a profession where salaries are expected to be very high. In addition, the course involves extensive flying which in itself is very costly. Typical course fee in flying training schools run into tens of lakhs.
Thus, scholarships too should be in this region. Now again, fundamentally scholarships are given to poor students who cannot afford the cost of college. But then when this cost is in tens of lakhs hardly any philanthropists will come forward to offer a scholarship to this course which is considered for elites.

As of today, there are no flying schools who offer scholarships for flying courses in India. With the price of fuel going up and overall expense for getting a CPL increasing day by day, it is not viable for a flying school to give concessions or scholarships to students, regardless of their academic prowess.
However, a few states in India do offer grants and partial scholarships for a Commercial Pilot Licence course run by government institues like Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uraan Academy or IGRUA.
