UConn offers merit-based scholarships and need-based assistance to its students. International students studying in the USA are not eligible to apply for federal and state aids or UConn economic-need financial assistance.
However, deserving international students may enjoy a broad array of scholarships offered based on overall candidatures. These scholarships constitute excellence awards, leadership awards, STEM benefits, distinction awards, president scholarships, etc.
