    Dear Mandeep,
    Agriculture is the primary sector the feeds millions of people world today. A Bachelors degree in Agriculture though conventional, comes under professional degree which has wide scope in terms of getting good job career, creating own business and lastly self satisfaction.

    Hi, Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally, it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption. Agricultural graduates have a wide scope of careers in the public sector and the private sector. In fact, entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in the agricultural field. It is just a myth that Agriculture does not offer job opportunities.     Dear Mandeep,
    Being an alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say Lovely professional University School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped Laboratories, Library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. I did MBA from LPU, during my post-graduation years I had few friends from agriculture department, Sometimes I used to visit fields, Labs with them they also discussed about placements, academic, placements etc. So I have Idea about this course.     Hi, The students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants, and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations.
