Is there any scope of bachelor's degree in theatres from LPU?

Dear Aditya, This programme is an amalgamation of studies and practice that provides artistic and dramatic instruction for those who want to work as actors, choreographers, musicians, vocalists, and dancers. Degrees in theater typically cover core elements like acting, directing and production design. Our theater faculty consists of 4 National School of Drama graduates, including one alumnus of LISPA, UK, who teach acting, design, and direction with specialised training processes. Two big proscenium stage auditoriums and a sprawling campus provide ample space for theater preparation and production, indoor or outdoor. A theater studio, a sound studio and a video editing studio are equipped with the latest technologies and can be accessed at will for training purposes. Opportunities of performances in front of a large audience in dedicated events like Sangamanch, Rangamanch, Magnitude, Youth Vibe and cultural festivals Youth such as Spectra, One World and One India and other competitive events at inter-university and national level. Workshops on tabla, vocal music and different elements of theater are organized regularly. The resource persons for these workshops are legends, prominent personalities, and famous artists of the field from across the country. Students benefit from these workshops with in-depth knowledge as well as professional contacts. The scope for theatre on the campus is wide. We have a separate block for co-curricular and extra activities where theater constitutes a major portion. The students from LPU every year launch a movie and numerous short movies and documentaries. Moreover, skits, plays constitute a regular part of their curriculum. The students from our campus have won Dada Phalke award for the movie 'Mantle'. At last, your future will be decided by your own hard work whereas university will provide you everything.
