Is there any sort of marks relaxation for reserved category students in BTech Civil Engineering admission process?

<p><strong>Almost all of the B Tech Civil Engineering colleges in India offer some sort of relaxation, usually 5%, in marks when it comes to the admission process</strong>. For example, if the eligibility criteria for admission is 55% marks for general category students, the criteria for SC/ST/OBC categories will be 50% marks.</p><p>Similarly, if the college offers merit-based admission to the BTech Civil Engg. course, the cutoff for reserved categories will be less as compared to the general category students. Rest, you can confirm the same by going through the admission procedure as mentioned on the respective official college websites.</p>
