    Lovely Professional University, though a relatively new university which got an independent university status as late as 2006, is one of the fastest growing universities in India, with unparalleled infrastructure and a very diverse study environment, which is a well established and better in terms of overall performance, doing a extraordinary in the field of development and advancement in various fields.

    There is a big difference between IITs/NITs and LPU, the former are government funded and have a 40-50 year track record while LPU has made rapid strides towards excellence in last 15-20 years that too without government funding and support.
    LPU boasts of massive top notch infrastructure, good faculty(over 600 PhD), Mac Labs, technology trainings like SAP, extra curricular activities, large events, and cool campus environment with great facilities. Last year LPU hosted Internationally acclaimed and appreciated Indian Science Congress and about 8 Noble Laureates from all across the world.

    There are plenty of reasons to opt for B.Tech programme in LPU.     Every college is doing well but preferring it or not depends upon the rankings. There are many colleges now-a-days but I have heard alot about the rankings of LPU.
    LPU is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).     No, it is not better than that, but it is not less than that too.
    B.Tech CSE- Computer Science and Engineering is one the branches in LPU having wonderful placement record.

    There is no comparison between IITs, NITs and any private university/college except BITS, Pilani. IIITs and NITs are the best engineering colleges in India. Now coming to the private universities no doubt LPU is among the best university across the country especially in core branches like CSE,ECE and EE.

    Although, this is for sure that if you are studying from IIT or may be few of NITs, your will have a wonderful career ahead. But with the matter of fact that how many candidates appear in an exam of JEE Mains every year and approx. 15% of the candidates barely manages to reach at above mentioned Institutes. Others must be ready with plan B for the career.

    Don't compare government and private colleges they are good in their prospectus as per LPU is having more number of the student so more number of companies used to come as compare to government college. So it is all up to you.
