In each semester, we have the Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes like Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning), Quantitative Aptitude Skills, Technical Aptitude Skills, Presentations and Soft Skills and Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.).

Better and best depends on your perspective and AIMS .LPU is one among the top 5 Pvt universities of the country, however IITs and NITs are tier 1 colleges, but it also depends on how you perform there too.

Every university is doing well for their students but as per my knowledge, I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B Tech from here and she placed in cognizant with good salary package.
1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs.
2) In LPU, due to tie ups with 700+ leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester.
