Is true that LPU campus is very much secured?

Being an alumni I would like to throw some attention on the following : Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Our security team includes experienced ex-military men and womenProfessional security Staff: A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. Monitoring through CCTV's :LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. FIRE STATIONS :The University has its very own fire station department, fully equipped with a fire truck and trained firemen.

As we all know that the major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and LPU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. I am a pass out from Lovely Professional University and have profoundly utilized my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors and management. There are students of all races, communities, cultures, tradition, countries etc. Studying here in the university from all over India and the world. With quality education, LPU provides good holistic development of the students to tackle the corporate world and achieve ones dream. The rules and regulations are very tough in the campus. If someone found doing any kind misbehave inside the campus, strict action is taken by the management against the person. This University have stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University have Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. Hostelers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards and CCTVs so no loop holes where they can sneak from. No boys are allowed to enter the girls hostel at any point of time. If girls enter after the time they are asked to list their name in the late entry register, which is further asked by the wardens during attendance, which is taken regularly. In case of health issues also, they can call ambulance at anytime, and are taken to the hospital with the assistance of the warden. Other than this if any girl or boys faces any issues regarding anything that she faces, she can file a complain of the RMS, against that particular issues or person, strict actions are taken immediately by the authorities. Other than this, in case of emotional breakdowns, there are happiness cells available in the university where anyone can go and discuss their problems.

Dear Virat, LPU cares for every single entity. LPU has created its Division of Safety and Security which provides safety and security to all the students, staff and faculty of LPU. The example of security starts the moment you enter the gates of the University. If you are a pedestrian and a day scholar then you will be scanned and your ID card will also be scanned before you enter the university. If you are coming by a vehicle then you have to attach RFID which is connected to boom barriers and you can only enter when your RFID gets scanned means no external entity can enter without an ID card or RFID. If any visitor wants to visit LPU then he/she has to get a Visitor to pass before entering. The moment you enter University, you will find security staff is deputed at various places to assist anybody may be a student or staff which is hard to find at other institutes. Particularly mentioning the hostels, there is full-proof security provided to students. Pertinent to add here, if a student is taking late-night studies in libraries, security staff will escort you to the hostel at late hours. This facility can only be availed if you have opted for a hostel. Hostels are safer than any other private places like PGs, rented apartments because of access to 24*7 medical facilities including ambulance service which is considered to be of great importance. In addition to this, there are expert counsellors in residential facilities which helps in solving the psychological related problems as students face homesickness and provides a safe and healthy environment. Nearly 4000 CCTV cameras and experienced security staff is deployed to all strategic locations through the campus ensuring 24*7*365 security. YES, LPU campus is very secured. Here are the facts that makes it secured and unique. LPU residential facility is indeed CITY IN A CAMPUS. The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. LPU is one of the greenest campuses in the country. The greenery makes for a great learning environment and promotes creativity! The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. LPU campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel, with thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. The University has its very own fire station department. LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. With facilities like swimming pool, warm up pool, shooting range, squash court, badminton court, a volleyball court, basketball court etc. At 50% subsidized fee. NO OUTSIDERS is allowed in the university without a GATE pass. Meaning even if parents of students come for visit, they have the access to university through GATE pass only. LPU provides APARTMENTS STYLE HOUSING with an IN HOUSE MENTOR SUPPORT and 24 hrs MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. Along with it has its own indoor stadium, gym, in-house laundry and meal plans, what else you need! Yes definitely there are some cons of it too. (1) RULES: Living life on others terms is however not everyone cup of tea. So you must go through the brochure before joining the hostel to understand their terms and conditions. (2) Little independence. Living in a hostel can give you a feeling of dependency. And every student who wants to feel like an independent adult hates that feeling. (3) Little privacy. Introverts are everywhere. And of course, who doesn't love a private space. But if you are choosing hostel then there are few or no chances that you are going to get any personal space because that is what hostel is you are forever going to be surrounded by the crowd.

The hostels of LPU are most comfortable and strict. There is no compromise when it comes to the security of the students. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art like the campus. There is a round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. Of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.

LPU's hostels are well-managed and provide one of the safest living environments for students. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. Well I am an alumnae of LPU and it makes me proud to talk about LPU. The first time I saw it I was awestruck by its size. LPU campus is a magnificent structure stretching over 600+ acres of land. LPU's infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the World. LPU Campus is quite huge in all respects, it has an excellent infrastructure, teaching facilities, experienced faculty members and a target to produce industry ready knowledgeable students. LPU is not just a university; it is a mini township by itself. Facilities ranging from restaurants, eateries, grooming facilities, a shopping mall, bowling alley, hospital, banks, and post-offices are all available. LPU campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel. I was surprised to SEE the diverse dining and shopping options available within the university campus. There is a state-of-the-art 8-storey mall which has shops of all possible needs, departmental stores, and gadget stores too. Indeed I must say LPU's tagline says it all "The University is renowned for its massive infrastructure and resources. It has a range of more than 600 + acres and caters to 30,000 + students offering 200 + programs. The elegance of the campus is going to make you fall in love.
