    The University of Essex officially does not publish data on the acceptance rates. However, according to some unofficial sources the University of Essex has an acceptance rate of around 74%. Based on this data we can say the University of Essex is relatively selective for admissions. Some of the general admission requirements at the university are given as follows:

    • Average of 60% in best of four subjects from Indian high school qualifications
    • Proof of English Language Proficiency 
    • Overall 50% or 55% in Bachelors Degree
