No, Utkal University is a state-level university located in Orissa. It is the oldest university in Orissa and the 17th-the oldest university in India. The university is recognised by AIU and UGC and is accredited with an “A+” grade by NAAC. It is ranked 93 among the top Universities in India by NIRF 2023. At present, Utkal University has 27 post-graduate teaching and research departments on campus.
