That depends on which programme you are seeking admission. If you want to pursue B.Tech, then it is mandatory to write LPU NEST for 80% marks in 10+2. However, for most other programs it acts as a scholarship test. You can write it to attain or improve your scholarships. Do check the eligibility, scholarships and further process at: www.admission.lpu.in
It is suggested to complete your process before September 20th, as the related scholarships may be reduced or even be phased pout post that.

In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Therefore LPU NEST is not mandatory for all programmes. After 12th LPU NEST is considered for Engineering programme. Therefore if your are interested for any other programme it is recommended to check the eligibility of your desired programme at the earliest and you can apply for your admissions from the website of LPU. With your percentages you can avail good scholarship benefits and LPU NEST can help you to enhance your scholarship. Admissions are going on, to grab the opportunity apply without any delay. Hope this information helps.

Hi Gaya, it all depend on the programme that you are opting for. If you have opted for B Tech, Hons, B.Sc. BPT MLT, B.Pharma etc. Then you will have to appear for LPU NEST. It is mandatory. However, for BBA BCA B.A. B Comm programs, LPU NEST is not mandatory. You are a brilliant student. Do not get scared of LPU NEST. LPU NEST is based on your last qualification. So it will not be hard to handle. Even if it is not mandatory, you should appear for LPU NEST because you may land up with a huge scholarship. Good Luck.

Hi Gaya, LPU NEST is mandatory for certain programs such as B Tech and Hons programs. For other programs LPU NEST is not mandatory for admission. However, still, students take this test because it is a scholarship test as well as it will get you a waive off on the fee.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. For MBA or Law aspirants, you may focus on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Current A

In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
