    Although both the XAT and CAT are well-known MBA entrance exams in India, their test formats and scoring methodologies vary slightly. While XAT is recognised by 850+ B-schools, CAT is accepted by 20 Iims and more than 1220 business schools. The Decision Making and Data Interpretation parts of the XAT are regarded as challenging, whereas the Reading Comprehension and Quantitative Aptitude sections of the CAT are challenging.     Common Admission Test and Xavier Aptitude Test both are important management exams and hold equal importance as far as Master of Business Administration admissions is concerned. logical reasoning, Analytical ability, and English communication abilities are examined in both the Common Admission Test and Xavier Aptitude Test exams for Master of Business Administration students. XAT and CAT both are aptitude exams, and the test patterns are similar.

    XAT is highly scoring in Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation section and so is CAT. The Verbal Ability and Decision Making questions of XAT are difficult and similarly the VARC and LR questions of CAT are tough. Thus, it is slightly more difficult to score in these sections of CAT and XAT.
