  • Dear student, LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few.

    Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Eligibility for admission in this course is as follows (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent *Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium.     No, LPU does not provide B.Tech Agriculture and I'm pretty sure there is no course having engineering in agriculture. Yet LPU provides B.Sc. Agriculture which is the strongest programme at LPU because it is accredited by ICAR. Placements: Top recruiting companies are Tata, Rallis India Limited, Syngenta, and Reliance Stores. All batch members got a decent number of internship opportunities. Almost 50% of the aspirants get the opportunity to do internships in companies like EduCase, Intello Labs Pvt Ltd, and Syngenta.     Hi, LPU offers B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.
