My brother failed in 12th but he got good ranking in JEE (Mains). If he pass 12th in supplementary exams, will he be eligible to get a seat?

    I have 2 years experience in JEE, so based on my knowledge let me give you the details,

    Yes, Your bother will be eligible to get a seat through JEE Main if he clears his Class 12th supplementary exams. Clearing of Class 12 is a mandatory requirement. Validity of supplementary exams will depend upon clearing the subjects required.

    For admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, he must have obtained at least 75% marks in Class 12 or must be within the top 20 percentile of his board (65% for SC/ST). Other colleges will have different eligibility criteria. His supplementary results need to be released before the cut-off date to ensure his eligibi
