My brother is looking for the course of M.Sc. Agriculture, so can you suggest some good colleges for the same in Northern India?

Agriculture is a high demand career these days. For any agriculture course from under graduate to doctoral, you must first check the ICAR accreditation of the University / college. This ensures that the prospective university has ample resources, faculty and infrastructure to run these courses or not. In northern India apart from government universities, there is only one University which is Accredited by ICAR to run agriculture courses, it is LPU The specializations offered are as follows: M.Sc. Not the finest, but I can recommend the best. City Beautiful is close to Chandigarh University, which is the newest and expanding the fastest of all the universities. This institution has established various standards. Chandigarh University has the greatest placement rate. This university has received numerous honours and has an A+ rating. The First Space Research Center with Pvt. University was recently opened by Shri Raj Nath Singh ji at Chandigarh University.

Apart from theoretical subjects and practical sessions, seminars and Research work/project also plays an important role in M.Sc. Agriculture programme. Based on choice of subjects, students may specialize in disciplines within the sector of Agriculture Science. Talking about the course, M.Sc. Agriculture focuses on topics such as Plant Biology Plantation management, Agricultural machinery, Biochemistry, Marketing and Management aspects of Agriculture sector etc. In short, it uses concepts of Science and Biology to improve agricultural productivity. It also focuses on managerial aspects related to this sector. Some topics in M.Sc. Programme are same as in the B.Sc. Programme, but the study material is more advanced and detailed. Those were some important subjects present in M.Sc. Agriculture programme. Apart from theoretical classes, practical hands on sessions are also present in case of these subjects. Also, seminars and research work plays an integral role throughout the course. It is a little hard to say which is the "best" because it really depends on the student's preferences and research interests but in my opinion, You can go for Geeta University as it is the best University for in NCR.
