My son has done his 1st year B.Tech aerospace engineering with 8.4 SGPA from UPES. Can I get admission for 2nd year B.Tech in VIT Bhopal?

No, sorry, you can't get admission in the 2nd year, the lateral entry is present, but only for diploma students.

2 years agoHello Shivkumar SS, perhaps I can understand your angst and anxiety about the future of your son. Theoretically, it is possible to take transfer from one college to another within or outside another University. But there are lots and lots of paperwork and procedure involved in this. Firstly your son's present college should allow him to leave for another one. Secondly, the syllabus of both universities should be the same. I would draw like to advise you to forget about 1st year of your son and seek his admission once again in the first year of aerospace engineering at the new place.
