  • Dear Reethu,
You need to qualify LPU-NEST. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for M.Tech CSE is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BE or B.Tech (CSE or IT or ECE) or MCA or M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) or equivalent subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or GATE.
    Or,
In case marks scored in B.Tech (CSE or ECE or IT) or MCA or M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) are 80% or above, then LPU-NEST or GATE will be exempted and a candidate may apply for admission. Admission Criteria is Merit in qualifying examination, subject to eligibility criteria. For more information, kindly visit the link

M.Tech in CSE - Learners are matured in a specific area of specialisation by extending their prior knowhow through meticulous set of advanced courses with a dissertation to showcase their research potential. The focus for thesis is to solve an industry centric problem. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BE or B.Tech. (CSE or IT or ECE)
You need not to go for GATE as you can directly apply for M.Tech if you score more than 60% in your graduation and you can also give LPU-NEST I. e. Entrance exam.

In LPU they are offering scholarships in bulk. As if you are doing your B.Tech then scores from B.Tech will be considered at the time of taking admission in Lpu. If you want to go for admission with your GATE scores then you can opt for other central Universities. Else you must go with private universities like Lpu.
