Being a counselor worked with Nursing staff and students, I can share some points to ponder. As it was mentioned elsewhere, the availability of job is universal. In fact the veccancies are plenty. The payment is also quite good. Many Indian nurses work abroad and send their earnings to their families. Since they work with patients, the sense of satisfaction is very high. This profession is noble and inculcate values and ethics. On my opinion the stress level is very high among nurses. As they work in different shifts, deal with life and death, struggle to keep a balance between family and work, nurses need lots of support from family a

    Hi All,
    Scope of nursing abroad:
In recent years there has been a boom in nursing jobs abroad. Healthcare institutions in prosperous countries have found India as a new destination for recruiting well-trained English speaking nurses. Delhi, Bangalore and Kochi have emerged as the three main recruiting hubs. Delhi-based agencies focus on the US market while those in Kochi and Bangalore are facilitating migration to other destinations like the Gulf countries, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Ireland and UK.
