One of my friends has 77 %ile in her 1st JEE Main attempt and now she is going to appear for 2nd one. What should she score for an NIT?

I have 77 percentile in first attempt of JEE and I am a 12th appearing student. I belong to OBC category.

    The percentile score in JEE Main is based on the relative performance of all the candidates who appeared for the exam. Therefore, the actual score required to get admission to a particular NIT will depend on factors such as the number of seats available, the number of candidates who apply for admission, and the cutoff score for that particular NIT in that academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff scores, a candidate would typically need AJEE Main score of around 150-160 out of 300 to be eligible for admission to an NIT with a general category seat.
