Yes, the percentage of marks in 12th grade matters for admission to the MCA programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU). To be eligible, candidates must have completed 10+2 and a bachelor's degree (like BCA, B.Sc. IT, or equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate marks. However, 12th marks are considered mainly for meeting the minimum eligibility criteria rather than final selection. Admission is primarily based on the LPUNEST entrance test or qualifying national exams. A good academic record in 12th and graduation can strengthen your overall profile for scholarships and improve your chances of admission to the MCA program.

When planning to pursue MCA, many students wonder how much their 12th marks matter. While your graduation marks are the primary criteria for MCA admission, your 12th percentage still plays a role in establishing eligibility. Strong performance in subjects like mathematics and Science in class 12 reflects your analytical skills and readiness for advanced computer application studies.

At LPU, the MCA programme primarily requires a graduation degree in any discipline with a recognised university. However, students with a good 12th percentage, especially in mathematics, find it easier to adapt to the logical and programming aspects of the c

To be eligible for MCA admission, a student must have completed a Bachelor's degree such as BCA, B.Sc. The main focus is on the undergraduate performance since MCA is a postgraduate program.

For admission to the MCA programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU), the percentage obtained in Class 12th is not the primary criterion for eligibility. Admission is mainly based on the marks obtained in the bachelor's degree and the LPUNEST (Lovely Pro

Yes, the percentage obtained in the 12th grade does matter for admission to the MCA programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU). Candidates typically need to meet a minimum percentage requirement in their 12th-grade examination to be eligible for admission.

LPU usually considers candidates who have completed their 12th grade with Mathematics as a subject, and they may require a minimum percentage (often around 50%) for eligibility. However, the specific percentage criteria may vary, so it's important for applicants to check the latest admission guidelines on LPU's official website or contact the admissions office for the most accu

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.
