Please tell me which college is best for B.Tech CS branch: Chandigarh University, Galgotia University or SRM? Please tell.

Chandigarh university is best option for B.Tech CS as this university has best placement record. CU has number of workshop and dedicated staff which is enough to polish the skills of students.

In between these universities, my suggestion is to go to Chandigarh University, if you got elected to SRM University main camous then very good other wise Chandigarh University is better option than SRM Other campus and Galgotia university. I have read several places Computer Science at Chandigarh university is Good.

Chandigarh University, Gharuan is best for B.Tech CSE as compared to other because it focus on emerging areas like Digital Marketing, Decision Science, Analytics, Financial Modeling etc. Well qualified and experienced faculty team with average experience of 12 yearsImpeccable placement record for MBA students at decent packages of up to 14 LPA with well known brands of varied industries.

All these three are doing pretty well in this branch which is highly sought after and has maximum opportunities. But change is the only constant in computer engineering ! And very few universities have adjusted dynamically to the continuous updations and changes in the industry. As an Educator I would compare the universities on following: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forma the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel etc are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Placements : The program is only means to the end ! And desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not. Chandigarh University is best for pursuing B.Tech. 3.6 Faculty is by and large great. Additionally have a decent foundation with greenery. A decent measure of understudies gets put in software engineering designing in Chandigarh college. A good amount of students get placed in computer Science engineering at Chandigarh University.

Chandigarh University offers the good infrastructure but also offers flexible and updated syllabus from industry point of view which is helpful for the placements of students in it based as well as core companies. This University offers you a course I. e Computer Science and Business Systems in Partnership with TCS so that you can have an company exposure from the beginning. As if any student is interested in placements then placement cell is there to train their students by arranging winning camps, aptitude classes, soft skill classes and coding batches. And if any student wants to be an entrepreneur then university help them to establish their own business. So for B.Tech CS to get more opportunities than Galgotia or SRM, go for Chandigarh University.

Hello! I would suggest you to expand your horizon and look for options beyond these. As per my experience I would suggest you LPU. Lovely Professional University (LPU) is one such university that is reputed in the field of education and can easily be your first choice to pursue an engineering degree. One of the best things about LPU is the placement opportunities it provides to its students. LPU has already established the record of the highest number of placements in North India in the last three years. Students of this university are working at respectable positions in major corporations such as Amazon, Google, etc. With packages of more than 1 crore. Cognizant alone has hired 1900 students from the university. Many students of LPU have been hired in a lot of good companies from all around the world. More than 700+ companies such as Microsoft, HP, Hindustan Lever, etc. That recruit from IIT also recruit from LPU. The campus of the university spans over 600 acres and is like a city in itself.
