    Detailed Solution:

    Using conservation of momentum

    => 180 V1 = 4V2

    => V2 = 45 V1

      Q = K E 1 8 0 + K E α              

    Q = 1 2 1 8 0 V 1 2 + 1 2 4 V 2 2        

    = 1 2 × 1 8 0 × ( V 2 4 5 ) 2 + 1 2 4 V 2 2

    K E α = 5 . 5 M e V ( 4 6 4 5 ) = 5 . 3 8 M e V
