Three particles P, Q and R are moving along the vectors A = i ^ + j ^ , B = j ^ + k ^  and C = i ^ + j ^  respectively. They strike on point and start to move in different directions. Now particle P is moving normal to the plane which contains vector A a n d B .  Similarly particle Q is moving normal to the plane which contains vector A a n d C .  The angle between the direction of motion of P and Q c o s 1 ( 1 x ) .  Then the value of x is_________.

Cross product will represent a vector perpendicular to both the vector.

Dir. Of Motion of P : = ( i ^ + j ^ ) * ( j ^ * k ^ )

= k ^ j ^ + i ^

Dir. Of Motion of Q = ( i ^ + j ^ ) * ( i ^ + j ^ )

= 2 k ^

c o s θ = a . b a b = 2 2 3 = 1 3 θ = c o s 1 ( 1 3 )
