    Here are some preparation tips for Probationary Officer/Clerk/Specialist Officer:
    Know the Syllabus: First and foremost, get familiar with the exam syllabus and pattern. This will help you understand the topics that you need to prepare for and plan your study accordingly.     Know about the bank exam details:
    The bank exam pattern for both the IBPS SO and SBI SO exam is a bit different since a new section called the Professional Knowledge section is included in the Mains exam. Analyse and devise a strategy:
    After knowing the bank exam syllabus, candidates should analyse the topics and mark the difficult and important ones to start with their bank exam preparation.

    Hello, There are basically 4 sections in bank exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants and GK-
    Verbal Ability:
    Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. It will also help you to get in touch with basic vocab Don't miss out the editorial page. Do a proper analysis of articles on the editorial page. Try to make a summary of articles that you read para by para. You can switch to the book called WORD POWER MADE EASY by NORMAN LEWIS. DILR

    You can consider the following points-
    Determine sectional weightage.
    Daily practice, revision and group study.
    Read newspapers for GS, English, marketing, communication.
    Daily mock tests.

    Hi,
    The syllabus of PO are clerk is same, but there is a difference in difficulty level. The Syllabus of PO is quite different and varies according to the post.
    You should keep following things in mind while preparing for PO exams:

    There are some particular tricks for some particular questions, so u should practise more and more on them within timing to crack bank po exam.

    As you know practice makes a man perfect, similarly with constant practice of similar types of problem from previous years question papers. You can follow some books as well. Solving the sample papers on the regular basis can speed up your timing and help you at the exam time.

    Determination
    People often says determination is the key to success. A determined candidate is the best person who can appear for this exam. So for increasing your chances to cross this exam is to get determined.
    Right materials
    Studying from the right source is an important point of concern. Candidate should have an idea about what he is going to be asked in the bank exam and he should prepare for it from the right source. The booklet provided by the provided by the bank should be carefully read and attempts should be made to solve the test papers given at the back of the booklet. Short-cuts should be avoided.

    I know both clerical and PO exams are quiet tough. Lot of preparation is required to crack them. Hope below mentioned tips could help you.
    • Regular practice and attention should be paid to all the sections-Reasoning, Mathematics, English, etc.
    • All basics should be thoroughly prepared by comprehensive study of class 10th mathematics formulas.
    • Full-length mock test, which contains all the section, should be attempted within the fixed time period.
    • Be aware of all current affairs and current issues related to economics, politics, business etc.
