The pattern of the recruitment test for HAL is given below:
There are five disciplines in which the question booklets are divided:
• Aeronautical
• Electrical and Electronics
• Mechanical and Production
• Metallurgy
• Computer Science
Paper Pattern
There are 160 questions in all the booklets. The questions are all objective types. There are 15 questions on General Awareness, 25 questions on General Engineering, 120 questions on the specific discipline. Each question carries 1 mark. So the total is 160.
