HI,
GRE is test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MS in engineering fields, now a days many universities accepts GRE scores for admission in their MBA program as well.
Since medium of education in US universities is English, so all the students whose first or native language is not English, have to take either TOEFL or IELTS to prove their English language proficiency.
GRE and TOEFL/IELTS scores along with good academic record are one of the important eligibility criteria to get admission in universities.

Dear Sinny, you can not run any certification course for Nurses unless it is accredited by MCI but there is one course which you can run without any such requirement and that is Certificate Course in Home Based Care Providers. You should get a masters in engineering, as your diploma will not fetch you jobs of your choice. However, since the economy is bad and construction is in a slump, I'd suggest you try for a state job with the highway department. You can condemn rights of way for new highway projects (because the government is interested in rebuilding all the infrastructure right now - so there are probably jobs in that area). You will get a good pension when you retire someday from the state.Simultaneous,carry forward with completing your education preferably a full time MBA or Masters, which will help you fetch better job opportunities.

First of all there is still time left to prepare for the entrance exams, so instead of getting nervous with all this better concentrate in ur studies. That is the best option u have.
Now if u cant get this out of ur head here is some advice.
1. First ask urself why u wana join d medical profession. u can go to a carrier counselor for help.
2. Dropping 1 yr for medicine is worth the time no doubt. But that by itself is not enough. competition for govt mbbs seats is very high.
3.keep ur option open for other allied medical branches.
4. whatever u decide, do only one thing. Dont join some other course as a back up. That way u have
