These rules differ from university to university. Internship or projects are a part of the final year and therefore will carry respective marks or grades. But if it will add credit points is rare and will depend on the university you are applying to.

Applying to a good university abroad with so many backlogs will be highly competitive and chances are minimal. You can be eligible and can apply to colleges but getting admission won't be easy.
