The placement are good as NIFT gives 8LPA for freshers and its pretty great for placement.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad is located off Hitec City Road in Hitec City’s Jaihind Enclave in Hyderabad’s Madhapur area. Its 8-acre campus is about 35 kilometres from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. In terms of infrastructure, the college has a resource centre, an auditorium, departmental laboratories and studios. The college also has a canteen, cafes, a campus counsellor and medical facilities. The institute’s placement cell says students have interviewed with firms like Globus, H&M, Kmart Australia, Manyavar, Monte Carlo, Nykaa, Raymond, Reliace Brands, The Man Company, The Shirt Studio and Vaishali Couture. The institute also has housing for female scholars, as well as facilities for various sports like tennis, basketball, throwball and cricket.

Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Ftech at National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad:

• Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of  examination from any recognised Central/State Board of  Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary  Education, New Delhi / Council for Indian School of Certificate  Examination, New Delhi with Physics and Mathematics.

Candidates applying for both B.F.Tech & B.Des will take an  entrance examination comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT)  and Creative Ability Test (CAT). For such candidates 2 separate  CMRs will be generated. One for B.Des Programme and one for  B.F.Tech Programme. 

B.F.Tech candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of General  Ability Test (GAT).

NIFT cutoff 2024 - The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the NIFT 2024 cutoffs at the time of counseling and seat allotment.

Note that the NIFT 2024 counseling process will be conducted in May-June 2024.

The cut-off will indicate the minimum rank or score one needs to secure for admission. Consequently, only such candidates who meet the cut-off will be considered for admission. If a candidate fails to meet the cut-off in a particular seat allotment round, then he or she will be considered in subsequent rounds.

However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off for the last round of allotment, the candidate will not get admission.

To prepare the cut-off, factors like seat intake, the number of applicants, the NIFT 2024 merit rank of the applicants, etc., will be considered.

The candidate may go through previous years' cut-off for NIFT participating institutes to get an idea as to what is a safe score for admission. 

The NIFT 2024 has 18 participating institutes offering a combined intake of 5,289 seats.

BHU Placement 2024: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is well known for offering excellent placement opportunities to its students. The university's dedicated placement cell connects students with top recruiters in various fields. The Placement Cell of BHU offers varieties of opportunities within the campus prior to placement to enhance their soft skills, communication skills and Aptitude skills through various workshops and seminars and summer internships that train students to excel in any sector.

The highest package of 2023 touched 38 LPA from MBA while the average package stood at 11.3 LPA.

As per NIRF Report 2023, a total of 480 students were placed out of 3,564 students while 2,910 students were selected for higher studies during BHU UG 3-year placements 2022.

Among all other courses, BHU MBA always has a milestone achievement in its placement offers as out of a total of 480 students placed, 120 are from MBA courses only.

Major Recruiters include - IBM, Infosys, Genpact, Federal Bank, Wipro, IDBI Bank etc., while some summer internship partners are RBI SBI, Union Bank of India, and many more.

According to BHU NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during BHU UG 3-year and UG 4-year placements 2023 stood at INR 8 LPA and INR 8.5 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered during BHU PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 9 LPA. Earlier, the BHU recorded 100% placements in 2023 for its Management Studies department. The highest and average package offered during BHU MBA and MBA IB placements 2023 stood at INR 38 LPA and INR 11.3 LPA. Further, the highest and average package offered during BHU MBA Agribusiness placements 2023 stood at INR 15 LPA and INR 7.19 LPA, respectively.

Institute of Management Studies under BHU also known as FMS BHU MBA Admission 2024 to its MBA programme is conducted through candidates' performance in CAT. The Institute offers two regular management programmes: Master of Business Administration - (MBA) and Master of Business Administration – International Business (MBA - IB). Both the courses are offered in multiple specialisations including, including Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations Management, Information Technology, etc.

CAT 2024 exam date is November 24, 2024. Official announcement of the same will be made in July 2024. The exam will be held in three shifts at over 400 exam centres in 137 cities across India. CAT is a national-level MBA entrance exam for admission to the 21 IIMs and over 1,200 B-Schools across India. The online registrations for CAT 2024 will begin in the first week of August 2024.

Minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern/ a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or law / a post graduate degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any University/Institution recognised by AIU/AICTE. For SC/ST candidates 45% mark is required.

On the basis of the Combined merit of written test (CAT conducted by IIM of the corresponding year)- (50% weightage); Academic Records of the Candidates (20% weightage); Group Discussion and Interview conducted by FMS, BHU (30% Weightage).
