Eligibility for IAS is that you must be a graduate and your age is between 21 years to 28 years if you are a general category candidate with maximum four attempts while for OBC and other reserved category, 21 to 30 years with no limit on number of attempts. You are required to take one optional for prelim exam and two optionals for main exam.Your optionals in main may or may not be same as one you have taken in prelims. So you may take the same optional you have taken for prelims with one additional or you may take both new options in the main exam. While the general studies are common for every aspirant.

Hi Suraj,
You have not mentioned anything about the Entrance you have appeared for if any. If you have not appeared for any Entrance Examination in that case you first need to appear for an Entrance as that would decide that which college you can apply to. making a list of institutes would not be useful till the time you have scores. However, few of the best MBA institutes in India are IIMs, XLRI, FMS, Narsee Moonjee etc.

Student need to give entrance test and the ones who clear the entrance test has to give interview in which portfolio is viewed, and questions are asked. Test are related to drawing, creativity, colour sense and general understanding. Portfolio could include drawings, paintings, any handicrafts made, films made, photographs taken by the applicant alongwith other arts such as poetry,story or any other literature work written,painted illustrated or talent in performing arts, models making or any related fields could also be brought. We have never taken any modeling interview (shoot). From where did you hear this?
