After B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, you have two options :
-You may pursue advance courses
OR
-You may start working

If you wish to pursue advance course after B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering :
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch .
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line.
You have another option with you, i.e.,
You may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with the technical course (M.Tech) or management course (MBA).
In a nutshell, choose a course which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals. So, think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.

After the course completion, you may find employment in :

Salary :
Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea :
-Engineers working in government departments can earn around Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 15,000 every month at beginner level while at superior level it might go up to more than Rs 20,000 every month.
-Professors and lecturers of technical colleges are getting as fixed by UGC.
-In private companies, their salaries are fairly high ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 60,000 depending upon qualification and experience.
-Consultancy job in mechanical engineering is also a highly lucrative career path. Consultants are earning handsome salary depending upon number and nature of clients they have.

Selecting a college is purely and entirely your decision. It would be tough to state a college as the best as every college has it's own plus and minus points.

While selecting, you just need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition whether the college is AICTE / UGC approved or not.
As per the official website of Amity University -
" Amity Universities is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
Amity University is a full fledged university and not a deemed university.
Amity University Uttar Pradesh has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC ) with "A" Grade.
As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As Amity University is a Bonafide University established by a State Act, it does not require AICTE approval. "
Other than this, you also need to check year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
