According to students, RVCE has always been the top priority when it comes to selecting a college under VTU. If you take a look at the previous year cutoffs, RVCE has an edge over BMS.
Taking into consideration the infrastructure, in-house RVCE has a huge campus than BMS. However, when it comes to social life and better accommodation, BMS has great hostels and a beautiful college life. In-house activities and events are conducted to keep the BMSCE students lively and happy.

Technical clubs like Ashwa Racing have been participating and winning international formula car building championship and have represented India abroad. Entrepreneurship Cell of the college conducts various events related to entrepreneurship which inculcates the entrepreneurial culture in the college. Clubs like NSS and Rotaract Club engages students in various social activities.
Placements one thing that RVCE has been boasting about. Recruiters often prefer RVCE as their first choice when it comes to placements. Placement statistics of RVCE has shown annual packages of upto Rs 30 lakhs. BMS, on the other hand, is also considered to be one of the top colleges when it comes to placements.
