Hi Rutwiz,
It is possible to pursue an MBA after Engineering degree. I have many classmates who are engineers.
The problem with having just an engineering degree is that in company you are just offered roles based on your specialization and not offered managerial roles. But with an MBA degree you are eligible to be in a managerial role with a higher pay package and also more responsibilities.
Also in an MBA program you have the scope to choose between different specializations like Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations.
The expected package offered for the year 2012- 2014 was as follows;
PGDM & MMS 2012-2014

Hi. You can do MBA from distance mode. But campus placement will not be assured for distance programs. IGNOU is considered as one of the best universities for distance education. If you want campus placement you have to do MBA in regular. For that you have to write entrance exams like CAT,MAT etc., All the best !
