Hello Ajitha. Admission to the programme is generally merit-based. The admission forms of the colleges are available between the months of May and June. The application forms are available both online and offline on the various university websites. After the application process is over, universities in dues time declare their cut off list for admission to the course. The minimum eligibility for the courses is that the students should have passed with minimum 45% of marks in HSC or its equivalent from a recognised board. As per the eligibility criteria, a student should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. In the case of reserved candidates, aggregate marks should be 40% and above and should pass each subject theory and practical separately.
Selection criteria: The Candidate has to qualify through JENPAUH examination.
Hence direct admission in B.Sc. in Nursing in asked college is not available here.

In India, you can do only M.Tech Civil Engineering and you need to study two years. Abroad you can do Masters as one year programme in UK. You can do specialised programme which you like. Options are
1. M.Sc. Structural Engineering
2. M.Sc. Geo technical Engineering
3. M.Sc. Construction Management
4. M.Sc. Urban designing
5. M.Sc. Transport designing Becasue of the specializations duration is less and you become more employable.

The student reviews about the placement in core branches are not so healthy for NIT Meghalaya. The scope of core branches like civil, electrical and mechanical is very limited and you might get one or two core company visiting campus and mostly the toppers get those jobs.

Hello, as of right now, there is no provision for lateral entry into BIT mesra for B.Tech courses or any other courses. For B.Tech courses, JEE Main is the only way for admission. Hope it helps.
