UGC NET exam is held for various 84 subjects in commerce, arts music, language and many more. UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December. After qualifying the exam, you can apply for assistant professor post or JRF. The post graduate candidates can apply for the exam. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for UGC NET is post graduation degree. There is no age limit for assistant professor (NET lectureship) while for JRF candidates must be below 30 years old.
