One of the most esteemed colleges in Pune, India, is called Sir Parashurambhau College (SP College). The college provides a range of courses for undergraduates, graduate students, and doctorate students. There are three different specialisations available for the Ph.D. degree, four courses are given at the PG level, and a total of five courses are offered at the UG level. The UG courses are available for three years, while the PG programmes are available for two years. Admission to all courses, with the exception of B.A. B.Sc. M.Sc. MCA and Ph.D. courses, is based on performance in the qualifying examinations. The application process for these courses begins by the end of May month.

Similarly in commerce, the cut-off marks for BJB college stands at 81.05% while the figure at Ramadevi Womens college is 71.17%.
