Candidates can apply for Distance Education programmes at SVU Tirupati by filling out application forms on the official website. Candidates need to select the subject as per their eligibility criteria and also select the Study Centre or DDE Admission Counselling Centre according to their convenience, and the application should be routed through the Study Centre or DDE Admission Counselling Centre only. After admission is given, every student will be allotted an enrollment number, which they should invariably carry throughout the period of study in all their future correspondence with the DDE. Without this number, it is not possible for the university to track the information.

Step 1: Select the postgraduate programme you are interested in from the official portal.

Step 4: Upload the required documents, such as academic transcripts, proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS), experience in your field and references.

Yes, Sri Venkateswara University Tirupati is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Distance Education Bureau. The Directorate of Distance Education was started in 1972 as the Institute of Correspondence Courses to cater to the needs of students who could not pursue a formal college education. At present, the Directorate of Distance Education is offering BSc (Regular), BA (Regular and Open University System), BCom (Regular and Open University System), BLISc, PG Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Guidance and Counselling, Hospital and Health Care Management, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Dress Designing and Garment Making, apart from the Post-Graduate Courses (MA, MCom, MSc, MBA, and MSW).
