In an MS SOP, it is not mandatory to elaborate on management-related experiences as they are not the key expectations from an MS applicant. However, it is a plus point; hence, while mentioning work experience or industry exposure, applicants can provide an overview of the type of projects they handled, any client-facing experience, managing or mentoring teams, collaborating with others in projects, or any crisis/challenge that they resolved. Mentorship and leadership experiences, both academic and professional, can also be mentioned in the SOP for MS courses.

If a candidate is applying for both an MBA and MS program; the best approach is to create two unique SOPs. While both will discuss the applicant's major accomplishments and journey, the reasons for joining the program, and the choice of university, the manner of presenting the facts will differ. An MS SOP would majorly cover education, practical experiences, work experience, and technical skills that are relevant to the program. On the other hand, an MBA SOP would highlight their leadership and management expertise, interpersonal skills, managerial challenges they have overcome, and critical tasks in they have achieved success.

K? = ½ mv² + ½ Iω²
Since I =? mr² and v=rω,
K? = ½ mv² + ½ (? mr²) (v/r)² = ½ mv² +? mv² = (7/10)mv² = 140 J
K_f = 0.05 K?
(7/10)mv_f² = 0.05 * (140)
(7/10)mv_f² = 7
v_f² = 20
v_f = √20 ≈ 4.47 m/s

The intent of SOP for MBA vs MS is very different. An MS SOP is created with the intent to present you as a valuable addition to the program. Hence, it emphasizes on your technical background, educational qualifications, and professional experience. On the other hand, the SOP for an MBA programme should highlight their managerial aptitude, leadership experience, and aspirations, since the applicant should emerge as a good prospective leader. The MBA SOP would also be less technical in nature and be more oriented towards your management aptitude.
