There are plenty of institutions in India, which are famous for computer Science engineering. The best of course is IIT Mumbai followed by some different IIT's. See for the CS in Thapar University you can get at a score of 150+ but for DTU you need to get 175+, for outside Delhi students it will around 160+.

At this score, you can easily get some good NITs in non-core branches and some NITs that are not so good but in that, you can easily get the CS branch like NIT Assam, Manipur, etc.

DTU is far better than the Thapar, it is so because the ranking you see might be of the Thapar in that they will always keep themselves above many colleges.
