Hi,
Nothing goes for a waste, the more you learn the easy you grow. For promotions always qualification and experience are taken together to promote. MHM would be suggested also try for MBA in hospitality management. If your specific about any particular department out of 4 core or finance, marketing, HR or anything else. I suggest you to specialise only in that so you will have a clear insight about what you want to do. I am passionate about HR and I am doing my BHM now and I will probably choose MBA in HR to upgrade my knowledge about HR and get a better posting rather studying all the 4 core departments again. You can check the topic wise syllabus over different platforms for the same. But knowing the syllabus and preparing it is totally different. If you are confident enough that you will be rigid to your commitment and regular to your studies, then very well. There are a lot of study material and video lectures available throughout the internet.
But if you have any doubt regarding your self preparation then, I would suggest you to join any coaching or institute as they will compel you for regular studies and concentrate on your preparation.
