Hello Abhinav, theoretically speaking a student who is in the final year of B.Tech can initiate the process for applying to do MS abroad. This will juxtapose with his passing out of B.Tech and beginning of the course of MS in universities abroad. However there is a second school of thought which states that one year should be taken as a break and prepare well so that a student gets admission in reputed universities abroad. But then it is up to the student. However one important thing you should understand is that the foreign universities do not base their admission exclusively on the academics but consider 360 degrees performance of the student. In view of this I would strongly recommend that you should approach an agency that is dealing in sending students for MS abroad since they would be aware of different requirements that a student needs to fulfill for a successful campaign of getting admission. Hello Muhfeez, there are plenty of colleges in Maharashtra for studying in engineering subjects. Few of these accept only e JEE Mains or JEE Advanced score but majority accept MHT CET score. In addition there are some seats reserved for what is called as all India quota which is filled up based on the scores of JEE Mains. Be that as it may be majority colleges fill up their seats based on MHT CET only.
