Mass Communication courses deal with the method of dispersing vital information to a large number of people. It is not just limited to Journalism but also includes other media fields such as News gathering and reporting, Film Direction/Production, Event Management, Public Relations, Advertising, Corporate/Business Communication and so on. To be eligible for Mass Communication Courses after 12th, students need to pass class 12th with a 50% aggregate score. The prerequisites may vary depending on the courses, some higher-level PG and Ph.D. mass communication courses also require a graduation degree in mass communication. The admission process involves both merit and entrance based admissions through CAT LPU NEST and UGC NET etc. Based on the type of course you want to pursue. The mass communication course fee varies for each type of courses, the average course fee is around INR 50,000- 5,00,000.

I hope with less score you mean a score less than 80 but more than 70-75 because if you are pointing towards and even lesser score then your chances of getting an NLU are slim and unlikely. It should be noted that the score are not the basis over which candidates are shortlisted rather it is the merit list that is taken into account directly for shortlisting. There is no fixed trend for the merit list as it keeps changing and varies each year depending upon the number of candidates appearing for the CLAT. Though it is preferred to make a strategy keeping in mind the most recent trend of merit list and cutoff rates because in that way you are likely to get atleast some other NLU even if it is not one of the top 3 or 5. The cutoffs for the topmost 3 or 5 NLUs like NLSIU, NALSAR and NUJS in the recent years were around 95-100, which shows how competitive it is to get into an NLU. Also, an important point here to note is that you wish to get an NLU and not some traditional college hence, you should know that NLUs tend to have higher cutoffs regardless of their rankings. So, even if you aim to get a low ranking NLU then you must have a score of atleast 70+ and a lot of luck working in favour of you. Therefore, to get an NLU the lowest of marks that can be taken into consideration is around 70-75. Though this is mostly applicable to 'general' candidates and if you are SC, ST, OBC or State Candidate (I. e. , a candidate belonging from the same state where the NLU is situated) along-with a lot of luck then you may get some relaxation and get a seat at some NLU even if you have a lower score and a rank lying somewhere around 35,000 - 40,000.

The Common Law Admission Test CLAT is a centralised entrance exam conducted by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) in Kochi, Kerala for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. The UG programmes include a five-year integrated LL.B. Course, while the PG programmes include LL. M. courses. Eligibility for the CLAT UG exam:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC/SAP). The upper age limit for candidates is 20 years as on 1st July of the year of admission (22 years for SC/ST/OBC/SAP). Eligibility for the CLAT PG exam:
Candidates must have a LL.B. Or equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC/SAP). The upper age limit for candidates is 30 years as on 1st July of the year of admission (35 years for SC/ST/OBC/SAP). Exam pattern for the CLAT UG exam:
The exam is 2 hours long and consists of 200 multiple choice questions. The subjects tested are: English including Comprehension (40 marks), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 marks), Mathematics (20 marks), Legal Aptitude (50 marks), and Logical Reasoning (40 marks). Exam pattern for the CLAT PG exam:
The exam is 2 hours long and consists of 150 multiple choice questions. The subjects tested are: Constitutional Law (50 marks), Jurisprudence (50 marks), Other law subjects such as Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Family Law, etc. (50 marks). The CLAT exam is typically held in the month of May each year. The application process for the exam typically begins in the month of January and the admit cards are made available in the month of April. Basically its hard to get admission in this rank Under OBC category Basically you can get admission on luck only for example - A OBC candidate from Uttar Pradesh have state domicile quota in NLU, Lucknow where he priorities over other state obc student, NLU Lucknow have will fill only OBC candidate from Uttar Pradesh only so whatever rank goes here u have only chance for admission and second option is vacant seat Option where any nlu introduce there vacant seat you can registered for that seat.
As this rank is too low to get any college under any NLU u need to get better higher rank to get smoothly into any NLU.wish you all the best
