It's a great field and the job opportunities are umpteen. Graphic designing involves Photoshop, Illustrator , Indesign and Corel draw widely used for designing and Web designing involves the various skill sets required in the creation and maintenance of websites. I would suggest you to select your specialization according to your interest, as you can get good placement through any of the specialization and if you don't have any such interest then don't worry you'll have to choose your specialization in your 2nd year and the 1st year will be common, study all the subjects find out your interest and then choose your specialization according to your interest and market conditions.
