Hi Praveen,The admission procedure for MCA Programs, usually consists of the following two steps:
1. Appearing for the Entrance Test and
2. Applying for admission to the concerned admitting college/university/ authorities.
Apart from above mentioned, some of the institutes have GD/PI as a part of admission process. Selections are made on the basis of performance of the student in the written entrance test/interview/group discussion. The number of seats for the MCA Program is very limited in all the Universities. The aspirants MUST to be good at Mathematics and Statistics, as most of the MCA entrance papers come with questions from Mathematics and Statistics. Knowledge of computers is also a required attribute.

Hi Monica, BITSAT is a Computer based online test for admission to Integrated First Degree Programs of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
Students must start preparing for such entrances at an early stage. Concepts in topics like algebra, mechanics and stoichiometry should be studied in great detail as they also form the basis for other topics and are very scoring.

Aspiring students can take up Home Science as part of their class XII curriculum. However, for taking up home science as a subject at B.Sc. level a student need to pass the 10+2 exam preferably with science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology) and at least 50% marks.
