Hi suma look UGC , AICTE and DEC are government bodies their members visit universities in every 3 yrs for checking the universities status and update the report in every 3 yrs as, SMU was lost its DEC approval this year and some universities got again , in this way the report going on according to the norms of these councils ok so dont worry about the approval years bcoz the degree that you have done under the approval of DEC , that degree will be valid till your life .ok

Hi,
Preparing for Civil Services require combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books for Prelims
*Start preparing at least 10 months before
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections early
*Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach for prelims
*Balance paper 1 and 2

IIM's:
I giving the information about your doubt. In any UG course is eligible to get IIM. you just do UG and maintain good academic record in Undergraduate so that it is easy to get admission in IIM and write CAT exam so that you can get admission in your desired IIM. They will give weight age for academic record group discussion, academic record, written ability test (essay writing),CAT score.
ISB:
ISB wont accept the CAT score they will accept only GMAT and TOEFL score. So try to get good score GMAT exam means 650+ score that you get admission in ISB.
