I don't know Why u r going for a course which is not from your background. But you still can opt bba + mba. You will face lil problems regarding understanding accounts economics etc but i think u can handle that. But i still suggest u to go for a course from ur zone(science).

To trust one college you need to check some of the important parameters such as recognition, year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
Also to be very sure about one college you can also visit the institute personally, and talk to the students studying there, and take their feedback regarding faculty, teaching methodology, placements etc., all this will help you to take decision regarding which institute to join.
