Lady Shri Ram College offers 2 year full time degree course in M.A.English and spans over four semesters.The course covers all the related topics of the study field by means of dedicated faculty and well structured curriculum.
Eligibility
At least 45% in the BA Honors (English) of the University of Delhi OR At least 50% in the aggregate of a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized Indian University.
Admission is through entrance test- At least 40% to be scored.
The entrance test will be designed to test the candidates' proficiency in English language (including comprehension and writing skills) and their knowledge of English literature and other literature.

As per your query, it seems that your long term goal is to pursue MBA, so regarding this please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be GRADUATE in ANY FIELD with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
So, you may consider pursuing any course at undergraduate level as per your interest and liking.
However, I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your graduation and then opt for MBA, the advantage of this step would be that after working for few years you would know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
This work experience of yours would give you competitive advantage over other candidates with no work experience during MBA admission.
Finally if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.

1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance test.
