You should go for B. Tech Mechanical in Design and Development by Rayat Bahra University, as they are offering unique course, called New Age Program, in coloration with Siemens, Google, & IBM, especially With Siemens for B. Tech Mechanical Engineering. Along with engineering curriculum, they are teaching skills used in industry to make the candidate industry ready engineer. You will get certification from Siemens, and it will be taught by industry's experts of Siemens.
So, I think it is a very good course from viewpoint of placement, package and dream companies.

Hi,
Check the college, the cutoff percentage in 10+2 and age limit, if any. Choose the college based on location, fees and scholarship, placement and faculty. Entrance exams are generally for 2 hours, includes GK, English ability, aptitude, numerical ability, current affairs. There will be written test, interview/group discussion. Some Hotel management exams are NCHMCT, FHRAI, MAH HM CET, IITM, HIHT and ITDC. Browse through each of them and take up the exam accordingly.

Hello,
It depends on the specialisation you want to choose after graduation.
If you want to go for MBA afterwards then you should go for BBA/B.Com as it will help you to make your base strong.
Regarding theory, in every field, you will have a mixture of both theory and practical or mathematical problems.
