Hi Karan, Business Intelligence is the fastest emerging field today. Organisations have accumulated a lot of data in the past decade and now they are keen in using the same data for meaningful reports through BI and analytics which can help them take smart business decisions.
BI is predominantly used in the areas of fraud detection, predictive modeling, actuarial, scoring and so on in financial institutions and healthcare industry. It's not restricted to these 2 only. It helps Sales forecast and all.
There are several Institutes offering courses in BI tools. You can check MIcrostrategy, SAS and Oracle.
It's advisable to do a BI course after either of your choices, B.Sc or CS.

However, please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation.
So, if you wish to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program in that case I would suggest you to apply for improvement exam and prepare well so that you may score atleast 50% marks in graduation.

The campus placement has been extremely successful for the 2009-2013 batch of students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Department.
