In India, there were as many as 1221 laws and Acts as of 2010 which is definitely increased. You cannot study all of them in a life time. You can learn law only through LLB as a academic degree and if you are not interested in academic degree, just start reading the laws one by one. You can start with studying constitution of India which is a bible and mother of all law. Then you can decide what you want to study in law. such as criminal law, civil law, administrative law, constitutional law, law related to children and women, law related to hindus, law related to muslims, property law, IPR and so on.
