As you have not mentioned the subjects that you have studied in 12th, it will be a bit difficult to answer you aptly. However, as you have posted this question under Science and Engineering, i presume that you have completed your 10+2 in science.

Faculty is good. Teachers have an good experience in teaching. and now with the new time table being implemented in the college, you can learn a lot of extra things through the internet (MOOC) and SIG in which teacher teaches up the extra courses which are not in the university curriculum but are much needed in today's industry like Java, PHP, .Net, Networking etc. The internet facilities are good, in the college campus you will get LAN in the labs, wifi in the campus and in the hostels you get LAN and WiFi with decent internet speed.

You need to get around 80 percentile in cat to clear CAT cutoff. the next step is issues of social concern test and gd pi round. the gd pi together constitute 50% of total procedure.
